Answer:
First of all, you can ask the system for the username and password. Please
input your email address and then press the search button. If you can find your name from the search result, click it and the system will deliver the username and password to your email address.
The reason why your email address being registered is someone registered you as a co-author in his/her abstract.
The ICONS congress system requires every author/co-author to have a personal profile. If you do not have one yet,
the submitting author can create a new profile on behalf of you when submitting an abstract.
Your name will thereafter be searchable and reuseable by any submitting author.
This is an important feature of the ICONS congress system that helps the congress organizer to consolidate the personal information of the delegates.
For example, it can eliminate those unwanted entries in the participant index which are due to typo of the submitting author.
In fact, when someone creates a new profile on behalf of you the system immediately sends the username and password to your email address.
However, it may fallen into your spam box.
